Day 8 Go Outside

Moon, Man in the

Last night two contrails crossed and circled the moon.
            She was framed
            by silver smoke,
            day old nick in her
                                       bottom. Had a man
                                       in her. Imagine it,
                                       what people thought!

Someone told me he sleeps here cheap.
            Motel by the DQ.
            Day sleeper, sign
            on the door.  They let
                                                him. They got geraniums
                                                in window boxes, salmon
                                                pink blooms, which comfort him.
